About Me

Liz Enochs is an award-winning economic, financial, and legal journalist with 15+ years of experience at major outlets including Bloomberg News and Red Herring magazine. Her stories have appeared in The New York Times, The International Herald-Tribune, The Atlanta Journal-Constitution, The Los Angeles Times, The Seattle Times, and The Boston Globe, among other publications. She’s also led content marketing and SEO efforts at major brands like Charles Schwab Inc.

Liz is a strategic, innovative problem-solver skilled at translating complex concepts into clear, compelling text and visuals.

Content strategy

At Charles Schwab, Liz created an editorial plan to improve content quality, leading to a 2.5X increase in traffic. She also created and trained editorial team members on an SEO program that was instrumental in more than quadrupling Schwab’s article rankings on Google’s page one and two.

Editorial management

As Managing Editor at Greenbiz.com, Liz established a clear editorial strategy, built a team of a dozen writers and editors, created a content calendar, and trained outside contributors to deliver stories reflecting the editorial voice and perspective. As a result, in less than half a year, overall site visits jumped more than 30 percent.

Editorial leadership

Liz is a board member at the Society of Professional Journalists Northern California chapter, where she previously served as president. She also serves as vice chair of the San Francisco Public Press, an award-winning nonprofit investigative news organization.
